About Me
Kate Bishop
I have built a long and rewarding career in local government, beginning as an Environmental Health Officer and progressing into senior leadership roles. In the latter part of my career I specialised in change management and organisational transformation.
Throughout my journey I have developed a deep understanding of how systems work and how people thrive within them.
Alongside my professional journey, I've faced my own personal challenges - particularly around self-confidence, something I struggled with from childhood. These experiences have given me a deep appreciation for the power of self-belief and the importance of living and working authentically.
I bring together my leadership experience, coaching and holistic practices to support others on their personal development journeys. I incorporate sound therapy and forest therapy into my work which I've found to be truly transformative. These approaches help people to reconnect with themselves, nature and with what truly matters.
I'm passionate about helping individuals discover their own strengths, develop confidence and to realise their full potential, on their own terms.
I have coached people in my leadership role for many years, but in 2018 I attained the ILM Level 7 certificate in executive coaching and mentoring. I have a regular pool of coachees. Coaching is so rewarding and I get tremendous satisfaction seeing people grow in confidence and develop before my eyes. Take a look at my testimonials and if you would like coaching, please get in touch.

In relation to sound therapy, I have always had an interest in music since I was a child. I became interested in the therapeutic power of sound therapy in 2020 and trained with the British Academy of Sound Therapy (BAST). I gained a Professional Diploma in Group Sound Therapy from BAST in September 2022. I offer regular sound baths and other group sound therapy options to help you to destress, unwind and find a little inner peace. I have received many positive testimonials.
I hold appropriate insurance and I am a practising member of the International Therapeutic Sound Association.
